Join us on Sunday, May 7, 2017 as the Emmaus Main Street Partners Celebrate Emmaus Farmers’ Market’s Opening Day!
This year marks “The Market’s” 15th season in Emmaus!
Opening Day will feature music by the Emmaus Public Singing Society and special guest The Seed Farm, a unique farm incubator located in Emmaus that provides new farmers with valuable, practical experience and skills on their training farm as well as the opportunity to launch a sustainable farm business on their Emmaus site.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held in partnership with Emmaus Main Street Partners at 10 AM and include members of the Emmaus Farmers’ Market Board of Directors as well as representatives from the Market’s sponsor, BB&T, and members of the Emmaus Borough Council.
In addition, gift bags will be given to the first 200 to register online at www.emmausmarket.com.
Friends of the 1803 House, a step back in time that preserves the architecture of the Moravian culture of Colonial Pennsylvania and illustrates the lifestyle of Colonial America, will be hosting a community table. The Emmaus Main Street Partners will be working alongside the Emmaus Farmers’ Market with fun children’s activities and Market greetings as well as a photo booth.

The Market will feature 27 vendors that include seasonal produce, meats, breads and flowers each week.
Open every Sunday May 7th through November from 10 am to 2 pm and then in December will be open from 10 am to noon.
The Market is held at the BB&T located at 235 Chestnut Street, Emmaus, PA 18049.
