An Evening In Emmaus - Entertainment
Series
The first Friday of each
month at the newly and beautifully renovated VFW, 316 Main Street in
downtown Emmaus. All shows start at 8:00 pm unless otherwise noted.
The
Emmaus Main Street Program was officially incorporated in 1995 as a
non-profit program to support and revitalize the Emmaus' historic
downtown. Funding was provided by the state Department of Community
and Economic Development with initial matching funds provided by the
Borough of Emmaus.
Founded by the National Trust for Historic
Preservation in early 1980's, Main Street Programs incorporate
historic preservation, community consensus building, and volunteer
effort to attain community and economic development.
Our Mission Statement:
“To lead the continued comprehensive
revitalization of a vibrant and active
community by involving our business owners
and residents in the common goals of
economic development, planning, historic
preservation and tourism.”
