Emmaus Arts Commission
Don’t miss the 4th annual “Chalk the Walk,“
sponsored by the Emmaus Arts Commission, taking place Saturday July 9th from 9 to noon. CTW is the Emmaus version of an Italian street painting festival, with artists-children and adults-surrounding downtown Triangle Park to showcase their original designs and colorful chalk illustrations. Last year’s event was a huge success, drawing a large crowd of spectators who gathered to watch people of all ages showcasing their artistic talents.
Artists will be provided a limited amount of chalk, but we recommend that you bring your own chalk or pastels to add depth and color to your work. Because CTW is a family event, please choose appropriate artwork. All artists, from beginners to advanced, are invited to participate in this fun, creative, and one-of-a-kind event
! There is a $5.00 registration fee that benefits the EAC. Pre-registration is not required. For more details, visit our web site at www.emmausarts.org.
